Patricia Ann Dean

July 29, 1945 — January 14, 2025

Patricia Koch Dean, 79 of Bryan, Texas went home to her Heavenly Father surrounded by her family on January 14, 2025. She was born on July 29th, 1945 in Gatesville, Texas to Albert and Minnie Clara Koch. She was the oldest of three children. She became a Christian at an early age and was a lifelong Baptist. Patricia graduated from Gatesville High School in 1963 and from Durham’s Business School in 1964. She worked for the city of Bryan for several years until going to work for the Texas Department of Public Safety in the Drivers License Department. She later transferred to the Narcotics Division where she worked as secretary for 31 years before retiring twice.

After her marriage to Troy Dean, they enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. She loved cooking, playing games, drinking coffee and visiting with friends and her church family. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Graeter and husband Steve of Waco, and daughter Janet Reeves of Waco, grandchildren Meagan Schoeneman Borders and husband Joshua, John Taylor Schoeneman and wife Presley, Jeremie Lloyd Reeves and wife Lindsey, Daniel Ray Reeves, Trevor Koch Reeves and wife Briana and 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her sister, Phyllis Stone and husband Kenneth, and brother Norman Koch and wife Linda. She was proceeded in death by her husband Troy Dean.

Special thanks go to the wonderful caregivers at Arbor House Assisted Living and Memory Care of Waco and Bluebonnet Hospice for taking such loving care of our special mother.
