Mildred Hebert Albarado

October 19, 1925 — March 7, 2025

No In loving memory of Mildred Hebert Albaradowho lived in Franklin, Texas. She departed this world on March 7, 2025 at 3:13 am at the age of 99 1/2 yrs old, in the presence of her daughters. Mildred was born October 19, 1925, in Thibodaux, Louisiana. For the last 8 years she lived in Franklin, Texas with her son-in-law Lynn, her daughter Carolyn and great grandson Ethan LeJune.

She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great-grandmother. She was loyal and protective of her family, and family was the most important thing to her. She had a sense of passion for reading and she enjoyed reading James Patterson books that her daughter Brenda sent each week. She loved to cook, especially red beans and rice. She made the best macaroni and cheese, weenie spaghetti and she made potato salad with sweet pickles standing in the middle for each person sitting at the table, which her grandkids enjoyed. The one she always asked about and never forgot was Christa. She loved watching football on weekends and cheering for her favorite teamwith her son in law Lynn and grandson Ethan.

She watched the Superbowl where her favorite team the Eagles won! During the game hervoice could be heard all down the halls. One thing you never did was talk during a football game, she would tell you to be quiet! She didword search puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. When she learned how to crochet from her sister Barbara, she made most all her children and grandchildren bedspreads, which remain on their beds today. She taught her daughter and some of her grandchildren to crochet. She LOVED gardening, which she could get a pencil to grow. At this time her beautiful Easter lilies just started blooming. Since the time they could chew gum she would send her grandsons Troy and Dino two slices of Doublemint or Juicy Fruit gum in their birthday cards each year. Her grandkids Troy and Tabetha would jokingly say I’m her favorite, no I’m her favorite and she would say no you’re both my favorite. She loved watching movies with her grandchildren and her favorite movie was “The Lion King”. As I walk in her room, I can still smell the scent of her favorite bath powder Estee Lauder Youth Dew. She fought a long hard battle with Alzheimers and lung cancer and will be greatly missed forever!!
