Brian Keith McWilliams 63, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 19, 2023.
Brian was born in Big Spring, Texas on September 20, 1959, the son of Gordon Lavelle McWilliams and Sandra Lee Richardson McWilliams.
Brian attended grade school in Sherman, Texas at Sherman Elementary and graduated from Iowa Park High school in 1978.
Brian worked as a diesel mechanic in the Wichita Falls, TX area from the time he was 14 years old. When his father retired in 1980 the immediate family moved to Hearne to reunite with family roots. Brian more than anything loved when he could be an independent mechanic and work on vehicles and motorcycles but truly anything that had an engine. He also had a love for music. With his music family he has played and written music with some very prominent people in the music industry. One of Brian’s proudest moments was getting to work for and hang out with Garth Brooks while being a stagehand for him in Dallas. He just loved to pick up his guitar and play.
Brian is preceded in death by his parents; his maternal and paternal grandparents; his sister, Marla Janeen McWilliams Barnett; his brother-in-law, Robert, “Bobby” Barnett, and other family members.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Salvaggio; his granddaughter, Lorin Rose Salvaggio, both of Hearne; his brother, Chance McWilliams, and wife Amanda of Bryan; four nieces, four nephews; and ten great nieces and nephews. 
He will be remembered and missed by those he touched and loved in his own way.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 10am at Five Points Church with Dana Altimore officiating.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Suggs Cemetery Association or to the American Heart Association in honor of Brian McWilliams.
