Jose "Capo" Tovias

Jose “Capo” Tovias passed away peacefully on March 15th, 2023.
He was born on November 25th, 1984 in Hearne Texas.

He was a loving and wonderful son, brother, friend, and loved one to many.

More than anything, Capo loved spending time with his mom, and making memories with his friends and family. He enjoyed listening to music, cooking, and watching his favorite sports teams; The Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros and Texas A&M Aggies.

Capo always had a smile on his face, loved helping others and will always be known as the kindest soul.

 If anyone ever needed a helping hand Capo’s response was always “I got you.” 

Capo never held a grudge and always lived life full of love in his heart.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Joe and Mary Gonzales.

His uncle Santos T.C.Gonzales  and cousin Amanda Gonzales and step grandfather Augustine Diaz.

Capo is survived by his mother, Mary G Rivera, siblings Chris and wife Sylvia Castilleja, sister Xotchil Tovias,
his nieces and nephews Andrew, Marc Anthony, Abrianna, Christina, Amanda, Christopher Junior, and numerous aunts and cousins who loved him dearly.
