Joe Angel Rocha, Jr.

Joe Angel Rocha Jr, age 72 of Hearne, Texas, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by family December 26, 2024. He was deeply loved by his family and friends; he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

He was born & raised in Cameron, Tx. He was a respected member of his profession at Alcoa & Luminant for over 50 combined years. He was known for his dedication & leadership. He was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. He was a man of strong faith, and he taught us the importance of family, hard work, determination and doing what is right. Some of his passions were fishing, dancing, traveling & spending time with his family. Though we mourn your loss, we also celebrate the incredible life you lived. Your legacy will forever live on through the countless lives you touched and the lessons you taught us. 

Joe is survived by his wife MaryAnn of 50 years; son Joe Rocha III & wife Heather of Bryan, Tx; son Michael Rocha & wife Tina of Bryan, Tx; daughter Amy Rocha of Hearne; his five sisters, Elvira Perez of Hearne, Tx, MaryJane & husband Lawrence Vega of Hearne, Tx, Teresa & husband Rudy Marquez of Cedar Creek,Tx, Martha & husband Ernest Galvan of Cameron, Tx, Dominga & husband Ezequiel Hernandez of Cameron, Tx; Grandchildren Jacob & Eron Mushinski, JR Rocha IV, Jayden Rocha, Daniel SanMiguel, Nadia SanMiguel, Mya Gonzales, Brianna Rocha, Alexxis Rocha, Michael Rocha Jr. (MJ); Great Grandchildren Elijah Rocha-Rosales, Adalynn, Sadie, Tucker, Kayce and Anthony; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was proceeded in death by his parents Jose & Isabel Rocha Sr., daughter Jennifer Marie Rocha and brother-in-law Simplicio Perez.
