Jessie was raised in Wheelock, Texas and Mumford, Texas. After he lived in Mumford, Texas, he made his home in Branchville, Texas.
He was a carpenter in trade but he had many talents. He loved growing a garden, mowing yards, churches and cemeteries in Branchville, Texas. He always loved to help anyone that he could. He loved playing Dominos and to B.B.Q. on Sunday with his friends and whoever came around.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Canuto Lopez and Janie Davilla Reagan, his stepmother, Cecila Lopez, his wife, Janie (San Juana) Lopez, his son, David Lopez Sr., his brothers Domingo (Sonny) Lopez, Joe Lopez, his sister, Mary Ann Barrios, granddaughter, Tiara Lopez, and great granddaughter, Dreanna Boxley.
He is survived by his children, Jessie Lopez Jr. (Astoria Washington), Linda (Santos) Rios of (Hearne, Texas), Gloria Lopez Salazar (Hearne, Texas), Patricia Marie Lopez (Bryan, Texas), Mary (Joe) Castilleja (Nacogdoches, Texas) Canuto (Traci) Lopez (Hearne, Texas), Ricky Lopez (Bryan, Texas), Ignacio (Jackie) Lopez (Atlanta, Georgia), sister, Mary Aguirre (Hearne, Texas), Alice Maldonado (Phoenix, Arizonia), Louise Aleman (Hearne, Texas), sister-in-law, Yolanda Lopez (Haines City, Florida), a very special companion, Elua Faye Williams, 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends that he cherished and loved.
