Brittany, Alan and Gracie Pennington

Brittany Linn Smith-Pennington was born to Coy Linn and Julie Smith on May 6, 1994 in Lubbock, TX.

Brittany was a kind, sweet, quiet soul. She was an introvert, but out going with her loved ones and the people that knew her best. She graduated from Hearne High School and went on to marry Alan Pennington. Together they had Gracelyn Anne Pennington born May 1, 2013 and Patrick Alan Pennington born June 11, 2014. Brittany loved her kids and was a wonderful Mother to them. They were the happiest, sweetest and friendliest kids that ever walked this earth. They never met a stranger.

Two years ago Brittany truly started living when she gave her life to God. What an amazing example this was for her children because Gracie and Patrick had a love for God and their church. They loved to serve God and were all too happy to praise and worship at any given time.

Brittany, Gracie and Patrick may have been tragically taken from us, but they will continue to live on in our hearts, memories and in the Heavenly Kingdom for Brittany and Patrick entered those gates on September 7, 2022 and Gracie soon followed on September 9, 2022. They will forever be missed. Gracie was an organ donor and because of her 6 other lives have been blessed and saved.

They were preceded in death by their Grandparents Buck and Melba Smith of Marlin, TX , C.A. Davis of Lubbock, TX and Patrick John Pennington.

They are survived by Parents/Grandparents Coy Linn and Julie Anne Smith of Hearne, TX, Brother/Uncle Coy William Smith of Hearne, TX Great Grandmother Martha Anne Davis of Lubbock, TX, Husband/Father Alan Mitchell Pennington of Bryan, Grandparents Mary Maxine and Alex Babcock of Calvert, TX.
