Billy Gene Nelson

Billy Gene Nelson was born on February 14, 1964, in Houston, Texas to his parents Louis Edward and Virginia Ladell Nelson. 

He gained his wings on August 15, 2024.

Billy received his high school diploma from Hearne High School in Hearne, Texas. After high school, he was a helper to his father’s welder.

After a while, he tried different trades such as carpenter work, pipeline work, he was an electrician, and tried being a Construction worker.

He loved his family dearly; His brother, sisters, nieces and nephews. He loved to fish, BBQ and drink beer. He loved the company of his family, friends and his fur babies, Rosco and Tigger.

 He was proceeded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his parents and his brother, Eddie. 

 To cherish his memory, he leaves behind his sisters, Patricia and Tammy Nelson, his nieces, Ashley Carrizales and her husband Lupe Carrizales, Tiffany Ruiz and husband Zack Ruiz, Crystal Meja and husband James Meja, nephew, Josh Nelson, great nieces and nephews, Alfonso, Annabelle, Baby James, Christian, Niko, Aaron, Mia, Noah, and Araceli and numerous cousins and friends.
